I'm going to work at Walt Disney World in Florida next year!
The adventure continues! I first applied for the role of cultural representative in the UK Pavilion in Epcot way back in August, without any hope that I'd get past the initial application stage; being that it's an incredibly competitive application process with few vacancies. I mean, who wouldn't want to work at Disney World for a year?!
But then I got an e-mail saying I'd been invited to the first pre-screen interview... and then, another e-mail asking me to the final interview, and lastly, a few nerve-wracking weeks later, a lovely e-mail congratulating me on landing the role.
To be honest, my excitement hasn't really subsided since I received the e-mail last week; if anything, I'm even more excited! It's a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-respected and successful company in the Happiest Place on Earth in sunny Florida!
I already have my arrival date (this year in Disney is already so much more organised than my year in Mexico) and I go in August 2015. So here begins my countdown: many months of planning and saving.
I'm hoping to document my journey to WDW and of course, throughout my time there. I'm sure I'll have lot of tales to tell!
Until then, I CANNOT WAIT!
